(English version below the link) Schon im Januar 2011 legte die Menschenrechtsorganisation European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) dem Auswärtigen Amt in Berlin und dem Schweizer Außenministerium ein umfangreiches Dossier zum Fall Dias vor. ECCHR forderte die Regierungen auf, das Diplomatenvisa des Generalmajors zurückzunehmen und ihn sofort zur persona non grata zu erklären. Im April wurde das Dossier auch dem Vatikan vorgelegt. Die Regierungen halten sich noch immer bedeckt – trotz gerichtsverwertbarer Beweise, zahlreicher Proteste, mehrerer Medienberichte, wiederholter Anfragen von Abgeordneten des Deutschen Bundestags und des Schweizer Nationalrats. Already in January 2011 the Human Rights Organisation European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) presented an extensive dossier on the Dias-case to the German and Swiss Foreign Ministeries. ECCHR asked the governments for the cancellation of his diplomat’s visa and to expell Dias as “persona non grata”. In April 2011 the dossier was presented to the Vatican, too. But the governments still keep a low profile – despite lots of evidence usable in a court of law, constant protests, media criticism and several inquiries by members of the German and Swiss parliament.
