Mit dem Ende des Krieges ist die Landfrage ist zu einem der zentralen politischen Probleme Sri Lankas geworden. Der hier dokumentierte Report des Centre for Poliy Alternatives (CPA) gibt einen systematischen Einblick in die Lage vor Ort und setzt sich für eine umfassende Landreform ein. Eine solche Reform wird allerdings nur dann eine Chance haben, wenn sie “in transparenter und partizipatorischer Weise, unter Beteiligung der Gemeinden und lokalen Akteur_innen und gemäß den Prinzipien der Gleichheit und der Konfliktsensitivität durchgeführt wird.“   +++   After the end of the war the land-issue is one of the central political problems in Sri Lanka. The report of the Centre for Policy Alternatives (CPA) documented below advocates a general land reform which can only be successful if it is “done in a transparent and participatory manner, with the involvement of communities and local actors, and in keeping with principles such as equity and conflict sensitivity.”
